… hmmm… I've begun to start wondering about whether or not I have the right to talk about potentially wounding or embarrassing anecdotes or passed events involving others, which is upsetting. It's going to curtail my explaining if I stop myself from saying anything verging on the illegal or personal to do with people. The story this niggle springs from is that of an old boyfriend whose agent had the nerve to phone him up and complain about his drug use (ok, the guy was in to 'weekending' basically ie: recreational happy stuff not Groucho nasal swilling). He is/was a nervous type and used to get hyper pissed off if an E didn't work or he couldn't get any gear when he wanted it, so I was merely going to use him as a reference point, but you get my drift here?
For the record, I was incensed by that woman phoning him up. How dare she's part of an industry that more or less publicly endorses coke use, and she has the gall to complain that one of her clients is using a non-expensive drug? A drug that takes him out of her realm of experience? Jeeesus. Apparently you're only allowed to use smart (over £50 only, please, and wear a posh suit, there's a dear) drugs in the TV industry. Bleugh.
