When I lived in Manchester I worked for a while (for nowt like) at a new alternative radio station called "KFM". It didn't last long, it was too… too good basically. It was bought out by Signal Radio. It was a shame. There were a few people there who 'went on' to better things - Craig Cash did ok, he was a great bloke. His ex, Caroline, did the late night-time shows, and also Mrs Merton, a funny Agony Aunt. She really was so funny when she recorded it with Craig, we all had to evacuate the area in case we laughed too much through the windows where she was recording.
Jon Ronson and Terry Christian also did shows. T.C. got 'The Word' job just sort of as KFM started, or ended - oh, I can't remember. Anyway, both Jon and Terry Christian were very good.
